31Getting Ready to Start RecordingAdjusting the Position and Brightnessof the LCD ScreenRotating the LCD PanelOpen the LCD panel 90 degrees.• You can rotate the panel 90 degreesdownward.• You can rotate the panel 180 degreestoward the lens (allowing the subject tomonitor the LCD screen while you usethe viewfinder). Rotating the panel 180degrees is also useful if you wish toinclude yourself when recording with theself timer. This is the only case whereyou can use the viewfinder and the LCDscreen simultaneously.NOTESAbout the LCD and viewfinder screen: Thescreens are produced using extremelyhigh-precision manufacturing techniques,with more than 99.99% of the pixelsoperating to specification. Less than0.01% of the pixels may occasionallymisfire or appear as black, red, blue orgreen dots.
