The camcorder will retain the audiobalance adjustment, however if you turnoff the camcorder [AUDIO OUT] will bereset to [ STEREO1].[ 480i], [ 1080i/480i]You can select the video specifications touse to connect the camcorder to a high-definition TV using the video componentconnection.[ 480i]: To use the 480i specification(standard definition TV).[ 1080i/480i]: To use the full 1080i highdefinition specification when possible, orswitch automatically to 480i specificationwhen 1080i is not supported by the TV. Select the [PLAYBACK STD] and[COMP.OUT] settings according to thespecifications you want to use forplayback on a high-definition TV. Refer tothe table below. When the playback standard selected isdifferent from that of the original recording,there will be no playback picture.[ DV LOCKED], [ HDV/DV]You can select the video standard to usewhen connecting to an external deviceusing the HDV/DV terminal.[ HDV/DV]: Switchautomatically between standards tomatch the original standard of therecordings.[ DV LOCKED]: All video output willbe in DV standard (recordings made inHDV will be down-converted).
