Device Custom Settings3-14Customizing Settings3Device Custom SettingsThe machine’s custom settings can be edited with the Remote UI.The following procedure shows how to customize the machine’s settings from theRemote UI.NOTE• The machine’s settings can be changed both from a computer via the Remote UI andfrom the Control Panel of the machine.• You can access the Additional Function Setting from the Control Panel of the machine bypressing (Additional Functions). For more information, see references to otherguides.• For more information on the machine’s custom settings, see the other manuals relating tothe function that needs to be set.• Of the settings available by pressing (Additional Functions) on the machine’s ControlPanel, the following settings are accessed from other menus within the Remote UI.- System Manager Information SettingsSpecify settings by clicking [Add.Func.] ➞ [System Settings] ➞ [Edit]. (See“Customizing System Settings,” on p. 3-2.)- Department ID ManagementSpecify settings by clicking [Add.Func.] ➞ [Department ID/User Management].
