Canceling Printing64Canceling PrintingTo cancel printing currently being processed, follow the procedure described belowto perform job cancel. Job cancel lets you cancel a job while data is being receivedor processed. It does not affect the print data for the next job or any other interfacejobs for which data processing has not begun.IMPORTANT• Perform job cancel offline when data is being processed (when the indicatoris on or flashing). If you press [ ] when the indicator is off, jobcancel cannot be performed.• Data that has already been processed and is currently being printed (when paperfeeding has begun) cannot be canceled. In this case, be careful becauseperforming job cancel may cancel the print data for the next job.• If print data sent from a printer driver not compatible with this printer is mixed withother data, multiple print jobs may be canceled.NOTEWhen job cancel is performed, the message <03 > is displayed.However, the print job data may not be canceled.Follow the procedure described below to perform job cancel. Only perform jobcancel when the indicator is on or flashing (when the print data for the job youwant to cancel is being received or processed).1 Press [ ].The indicator is turned off and the printer gets ready for operationusing the control panel.NOTEThe display changes depending on the printer status.
