11-2TroubleshootingCAUTION– Remove watches and any bracelets orrings when touching the inside of themachine. These items might bedamaged if they come into contact withthe parts inside the machine.– To avoid possible damage to themachine, do not touch the pins (A) nearthe left end of the transfer roller (B).– Do not open the drum protective shutteron the toner cartridge. Print quality maydeteriorate if the drum surface isexposed to light or is damaged.– When removing the jammed paper, donot touch the transfer roller as its surfaceis very delicate and susceptible to fingeroil and scratches, which may lead to printdeterioration.NOTEDo not expose the toner cartridge to lightfor more than five minutes. If necessary,put the toner cartridge in its originalprotective bag or wrap it with a thick clothto prevent exposure to light.3 Open the face up cover (A) andpush down the green paperrelease levers (B) on both sidesof the face up paper output area.B BA
