Charge the battery packbefore use.1 Turn off the camcorder.2 Attach the battery pack to thecamcorder.• Press the battery pack lightly andslide it down until it clicks.3 Connect the power cord to thecompact power adapter.4 Plug the power cord into a poweroutlet.5 Connect the compact power adapterto the camcorder’s DC IN terminal.• The CHARGE indicator startsflashing. The indicator will stay onwhen the charging is completed.• You can also use the compact poweradapter without attaching a batterypack.• When the compact power adapter isconnected, even if a battery isattached its power will not beconsumed.O NCE THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED1 Disconnect the compact poweradapter from the camcorder.2 Unplug the power cord from thepower outlet and the compactpower adapter.TO REMOVE THE BATTERY PACKPress to release the batterypack.
