38RAW Image Parameter Settings DialogSelecting and Adjusting the Attributes of Multiple RAW ImagesEnsure that all images included in a multiple selection of RAW images are from thesame camera before attempting to adjust the image attributes. The white balancewill not adjust properly if images from different cameras are mixed and the [Manual]white balance option is selected in the RAW Image Parameter Settings dialog or if awhite portion of the image is selected in the preview area.How to Change the File Format1. Click the ZoomBrowser EX [File] menu and select [Preferences].The Preferences dialog will display.2. Change the format in the Image Format tab and click [OK].Saving in the TIFF 16 Bits/Channel FormatWhen [TIFF 16 bits/channel] (supported by the EOS D30 only) is selected as the fileformat for saving RAW images, 16 bits of data is used to record each RGB channel.This image format can be used in several application programs, such as AdobePhotoshop LE. Formats other than TIFF 16 bits/channel all save the image using 8bits per RGB channel.Click this and a white point of theimage in the Preview Area to set itas the value for the white balance.Preview AreaResets the image qualitysettings to the state in whichthe image was shot.Displays the image in thePreview Area at full size.Parameter setting selections arereflected in the preview image.Restore the DatabaseThe database file may become corrupted if a system crash occurs for some reasonwhen ZoomBrowser EX is being run at the same time as another software program.If this occurs, start ZoomBrowser EX again, click its [File] menu and select [RestoreDatabase]. The database file will automatically be restored.Placing a check here applieslinear processing to thecontrast, sharpness and colorsaturation, and allows theimages to be edited withphoto retouching software,such as Adobe Photoshop.• The [Linear] option is onlyenabled when [TIFF 16 bits/channel] is selected as thefile format.
