This is particularly useful for checking images on the largercomputer display as you record them.Start the RemoteCapture program to perform this task.Starting RemoteCaptureStart RemoteCapture from ImageBrowser.1 Attach the supplied USB cable to the computer’s USB port and thecamera’s Digital terminal. Prepare the camera for communicationwith the computer.2 Close iPhoto or Image Capture if either program has started.3 Open the lens cover or remove the lens cap on models equippedwith them.Proceed to Step 4 if your model does not have one.4 Start ImageBrowser.5 Click ImageBrowser’s [Edit] menu and select [RemoteCapture].6 Click [Connect] when the "Connect to camera?" prompt appears.The Communication Settings window will display. This window onlydisplays on the first connection.7 Confirm that [USB port] is selected as the port option and that yourcamera model name or [Canon Camera] are selected as the detectedcamera. Click [Set].•Close the ImageBrowser Camera Window before startingRemoteCapture.•You cannot use RemoteCapture to shoot while the USB Mounter(p. 87) is in use.Procedures for attaching the camera to the computer andplacing it in the correct mode for connecting vary betweencamera models.
