1630 ZOOM dialThis dial adjusts the zoom. The zoom speed is variable: the greater the rotation angleoff the center, the faster the zoom will be. To end the zoom operation, return the dial tothe center.You can change the direction in which you need to turn the dial and its sensitivity toyour preference (A 19).31 AF (autofocus) buttonThis button toggles the focus mode between manual focus and autofocus. For detailsabout settings related to the camcorder’s lens or a lens attached to the camera, pleaserefer to the Instruction Manual of the camera used.When the focus mode is set to autofocus, the button lights up in orange.32 FOCUS dialWhen the focus mode is set to manual focus, this dial adjusts the focus.By default, the operating mode of the dial is set to relative mode (A 19). You canchange the direction in which you need to turn the dial and its sensitivity to yourpreference (A 19).ACTIVE button, master pedestal and iris controls33 ACTIVE buttonThis button locks all or part of the buttons and dials on the remote controller in order toprevent their operation by mistake. When all the controls are active, the button lightsup in green.By default, immediately after activating the remote controller, all the controls will belocked. Press the ACTIVE button repeatedly to change the key lock mode in thefollowing order:All controls locked J All controls active J Only master pedestal and iris controls activeJ Only zoom/focus controls active J All controls lockedNOTES• Immediately after selecting the All controls active mode and in other situations, theACTIVE button may flash momentarily.
