VB-C500VD IP SECURITY CAMERACanon’s VB-C500VD is a fixed indoor IP security cameraencased in a vandal resistant housing made of strongpolycarbonate plastics (cover), tough alloyed aluminum(body), heat-resistant polycarbonate and ABS mixture(base), and secured with tamper-proof screws. Inside thehousing, the camera is mounted on a Multi-DirectionalShock Absorber, a four-spring mechanism designed toprotect the camera by lessening the effects of impactsfrom various angles. If the dome is subjected to a blunt force,the four suspension springs shift the lens’ moveable base in thedirection of the momentum to catch and displace the force of impact.The VB-C500VD camera features an 82° wide angle Canon lens with 2.4xoptical zoom, a high-sensitivity progressive-scan CCD and exceptional lowlight performance.
