The angle determines the speed of the shutter when it is operatingduring recording. Normally the USC SCA Required Settings Assign it to 180.00 which givesus a shutter speed of 1/48 of a second at 24 frames per second. Shutter angle is critical tohow we view motion. Your instructor will train and inform you more about this subject. Fornow leave it at 180.00, the USC SCA required setting.The eighth icon is IRIS (also known as aperture).Your lens has an adjustable iris, just like your eye. It closes down in bright light and opens upwhen light is dim. We call this the aperture. It is measured in F Stops. Each F Stop allowsmore or less light onto the sensor.The dial on the hand grip between the on/off and record button is also set to adjust the iris(aperture or F Stop).
