83Using a Memory CardEFile NumbersImages are automatically assigned file numbers from 0101 to 9900 and stored in folderscontaining up to 100 images. Folders are assigned numbers from 101 to 998.You can choose to use consecutive file numbers (CONTINUOUS) or to reset the filenumber each time a different memory card is inserted (RESET). We recommend settingthe file numbers to CONTINUOUS.1. Open the FUNC. menu, select ( ) the icon and press ( ).2. Select ( ) the [SYSTEM SETUP] menu and press ( ). Then, select( ) the [FILE NOS.] option and press ( ).3. Select a setting option and press ( ) to save the changes, then closethe menu.RESET The file number will be reset each time a new memory card isinserted, starting with 101-0101. If the memory card alreadycontains image files, the consecutive file number will beassigned.CONTINUOUS The camcorder memorizes the file number of the last image andassigns the consecutive file number to the next image, evenwhen a new memory card is inserted.
