89EditingERecording from Analog Video Devices (VCR, TV or Camcorder)You can record videos or TV programs from a VCR or analog camcorder on the tape inthe camcorder.❍ Anomalous signals sent from the connected device may be recorded asanomalous picture (although it may not appear so on the screen), or it may notbe recorded at all.❍ You cannot record from tapes with copyright protective signals.❍ Headphones cannot be used during analog line-in recording. If theAV/headphones terminal set to [PHONES H], it will automatically switch to [AV].1. Connect the camcorder to the analog video device.See Playing Back on a TV Screen ( 41).2. Set the camcorder to PLAY (VCR) mode and load a blank cassette.3. Connected device: Load the recorded cassette.4. Press the REC PAUSE button on the wirelesscontroller.In record pause mode and during recording, you can check thepicture on the screen.5. Connected device: Play back the tape.6. Press the PAUSE a button on the wireless controllerwhen the scene you wish to record appears.7.
