5For USB connections• Use a USB cable that conforms to theHi-Speed USB specification.• Connect the USB cable to the printeraccording to the on-screen instructionsduring installation of the printer driver.If you connect the USB cable beforeinstalling the printer driver, the printerdriver may not be installed correctly.1 After making sure the printer is notconnected to the computer, turn thecomputer on.
