GB - 4Cooling with dehumidification1 26 7 8Plug the unit in.Open the air flow direction guide vane.Hold the hose end in position with thefastening strap and suction cup.Make sure the flexible hose is not kinkedor curved too tightly and that it is placedon a supporting surface (windowsill,floor...).Turn the mode selector to TURBO coolingor to SILENT cooling.The unit is now ready for cooling.Ensure that the warm air discharged fromthe end of the hose is not obstructed.4 53TURBOSILENTAir flowAir flowInstall the flexible hose onto the air conditioner. To improve the airconditioner performance make sure that:- the internal tips of the flexible hose are turned as shown in thepicture;- the hose is stretched as little as possible;- the hose is not bent, folded or throttled.If required, the air conditioner can beinstalled through a porthole in the windowor through a hole in the wall follow theinstructions in the manual relating to thiscomponent.Move the air conditioner close tothe window, stretching the hoseas little as possible (max.extension 1100 mm).To open thewindow as little aspossible, place theair outlet vent ontothe flexible hoseand place themoutside thewindow.
