10WALL THERMOSTAT INTERFACEThe standard wall thermostat interface provides asimple to install thermostat connection. The unit hasa removable terminal connector to make field wiringeasy. See more info on wall thermostat connectionsin the Dimensional Drawings and Installation DataSection.Notes:— Thermostat wire is field supplied andrecommended wire size is 18 to 20 gagesolid thermostat wire.— Wire should never be routed through thewall sleeve.— It is recommended to include extra wiresin case a wire breaks or is cut duringinstallation.— The thermostat is ordered separately anda Carrier PTAC approved thermostat isrecommended, see the accessory chart inthe back.EM (ENERGY MANAGEMENT)INTERFACEThe EM interface is standard and provides a simple toinstall, Energy Management connection. The unit hasa removable terminal connector to make field wiringeasy. When 24VAC is supplied to the input (the EMconnection), the unit will turn off.
