Page 5Every thermostat is calibrated before it leaves the factory.Under normal circumstances there will never be a needto recalibrate the thermostat again. To accommodatespecial needs, the thermostat may be recalibrated follow-ing these steps:1. While holding the Mode button in, press the fanbutton in for 5 seconds. After all the icons in thedisplay appear, release the buttons.2. Press the Up and Down arrow buttons simulta-neously, twice.3. Press the up or down buttons until the flashingnumber equals the current room temperature.4. Press the Mode button to return to normaloperation.TROUBLESHOOTINGSYMPTOM CAUSE REMEDYWhen not using acommon wire the airconditioning equip-ment tries repeatedlyto turn on, but cannot.At times the displaydims or disappears.There is not enoughpower available to“power share.”Connect a 270 ohm,10 watt power resis-tor at the unit asshown below.For Problem A/CFor Problem HeatThe air conditioningdoes not attempt toturn on.The compressor timerlockout may preventthe air conditionerfrom turning on, for aperiod of time.See the AdvancedSetup section todefeat the cycles perhour and compressortime guard.The display is blank. Check for 24 vacbetween R and C.The air conditioningdoes not attempt toturn on.The cooling set pointis set too high.Press the down arrowuntil the cooling setpoint is 10 degreeslower than the roomtemperature.The heating does notattempt to turn on. The heating set pointis set too low.
