Incorrect use of this product creates therisk of electric shock and fire.• Always make sure that the Digital Keyboard is turnedoff before plugging in or unplugging the AC adaptor, orbefore loading or removing batteries.Using a Household Power OutletMake sure that you use only the AC adaptor specified forthis keyboard. Use of a different type of AC adaptor can causemalfunction.Specified AC Adaptor: AD-E95100L(JEITA Standard plug)IMPORTANT!• The AC adaptor will become warm to the touch aftervery long use. This is normal and does not indicatemalfunction.• To prevent breaking of the wire, take care to avoid puttingany type of load on the power cord.• Never insert metal, pencils, or any other objects into theproduct’s 9.5V DC terminal. Doing so creates the risk ofaccident.Using BatteriesYou can use six AA-size batteries for power.• Use alkaline or zinc-carbon batteries.Never use oxyride or any other nickel based batteries.Open the battery cover on the bottom of the Digital Keyboard,load the batteries, and then close the cover.• Take care to ensure that the positive (+) and negative (–)ends of the batteries are facing correctly.1 Remove the battery compartment cover.2 Load 6 AA-size batteries into the batterycompartment.• Make sure that the positive (+) and negative (–) endsare facing correctly.3 Insert the tabs on the battery compartment coverinto the holes provided and close the cover.TabNo bending!
