EN-22Controlling SoundsConnecting a pedal lets you perform pedal operationsthat add various effects during your performances.Some representative effects are described below. Damper PedalPressing the damper pedal while playing will cause thenotes you play to reverberate. Soft PedalPressing this pedal suppresses notes played on thekeyboard after the pedal was pressed, and makes themsound softer. Sostenuto PedalOnly the notes of the keys that are depressed when thispedal is pressed are sustained, even if the keyboardkeys are released, until the pedal is released.
