Ensure the surface is level,clean and free of water, etc.• Do not place the Espresso Machine onor near a hot gas or electric burner, orwhere it could touch a heated oven.• Do not use on metal surfaces, forexample a sink drain board.• Always ensure the Espresso Machine isproperly assembled before connectingto the power outlet and operating.• Never plug in or switch on the EspressoMachine without water in the water tank.• Only use cold water in the water tank. Donot use any other liquid.• Warning: Do not remove the water tankwhile the Espresso Machine is in use.• Ensure the filter holder is firmly insertedand secured into the brewing headbefore using the Espresso Machine.• Never remove the filter holder duringthe brewing operation as the machine isunder pressure.• Do not leave the Espresso Machineunattended when in use.• Do not touch hot surfaces. Allow theEspresso Machine to cool down beforemoving or cleaning any parts.• Do not place anything, other than cupsfor warming, on top of the EspressoMachine.• Always switch the Espresso Machineoff, switch the power off at the poweroutlet and then remove the plug whenthe appliance is to be left unattended,if not in use, before cleaning, beforeattempting to move the appliance,disassembling, assembling and whenstoring the appliance.• Keep the appliance and accessoriesclean. Follow the cleaning instructionsprovided in this book.• To prevent damage to the appliance, donot use alkaline cleaning agents whencleaning.
