ck for smooth rotation of the throttlefrom the fully open to the fullyed position at both full steeringitions.asure the throttle grip free play at thettle grip flange.standard free play should be approx6 mmadjust the free play, turn the adjuster.Pull clutch lever until you feel resistance,and using a graduated ruler, check the leverend free play to verify it is within prescribedlevel.●When engine is idling, pull clutch leverall the way and see if there is abnormalnoise or if you feel unusual heaviness.●Slowly release clutch lever and start.Check at this time to see if clutch isengaged smoothly without slipping.Adjust lever free play by using the clutchcable’s clutch lever side or clutch sideadjuster.●To make major adjustment, loosen theclutch side lock nut and adjust byoperating the adjuster.●For fine adjustment, loosen the clutchlever side lock nut and turn adjuster.●After adjusting, tighten lock nut. Afteradjustment is completed, pull clutchlever with hands until you feelresistance and verify the lever free playis within prescribed level.CLUTCH LEVER FREE PLAY:10~20mmROTTLE GRIPADJUSTERCLUTCH10~20mmCAUTION●Upon completion of adjustment,start engine and verify gearchange pedal is operatingsmoothly.
