7 8SIGNAL CONNECTIONSConnect the RCA output of the head unit (AM/FM cassette player, CD, or DAT) to the RCAinput terminals of the amplifier. To make these connections, we recommend high quality RCA cables, which are availableat your local car audio retailer. Run signal wires away from electrical wires to avoid possibil-ity of induced noise from the car’s electrical system (i.e. popping noises or engine noise).SPEAKER CONNECTIONSIMPORTANT! The following speaker connection are for the amplifier in normal monoconfiguration.Make the speaker connections using speaker wire that is at least 16 gauge or heavier. As with any audio component, proper phasing of the amplifier and speakers is essential forstrong bass response. When connecting, make sure that positive (+) from the amplifier isconnected to the positive (+) of the speaker, and the same for negative (-).Please note that although the SPA1000D, SPA1300D , SPA1600D and SPA1900D aremono amplifiers, we have provided two sets of speaker terminals on the amplifier. Theseterminals are connected in paralleled internally (connected together). The second set ofspeaker terminals are intended for ease of connection when running multiple woofers.in outlevel subsonic lpfbassboostremoteLRmin max 20Hz 50Hz 40Hz 130Hz 0dB 18dBspa1300DclassD monoblock amplifierspa90.2classAB 2 channel amplifierin out levelfreq bass boostLRmin max60Hz 400Hz 0dB 18dBx-overlow full high94.7L RL R94.7bassboostinputlevelfreq0dB 18dBbassboost0dB 18dB60Hz 400Hzfreq60Hz 400Hzmin maxinputlevelmin maxx-overlow full highx-overlow full highinputch 1 ch 3ch 2 ch 4remotespa150.4classAB 4 channel amplifierL R L R94.7Optional full range line out connectionto addition addition in the system.Optional full range line out connectionto addition addition in the system.MONO SIGNALCONNECTIONSIGNAL CONNECTION:4 Channel Amplifier using2 pair of RCA inputs.SIGNAL CONNECTION:2 CHANNEL AMPLIFIERSspeaker outputpowerfusesrem gnd+12vprotect(-) ------ bridged ------ (+)R (-) R (+) L (-) L (+)+ -+ -speaker outputpowerfusesrem gnd+12vprotect(-) ------ bridged ------ (+)R (-) R (+) L (-) L (+)+ -4 Ohm Speaker(1Ohm minimum)4 Ohm Speaker4 Ohm Speaker2 Ohm Speaker (1 Ohm minimum)
