Access CodesAccess codesThere are several codes required to access thehandset and SIM card. The access codes allow youto avoid unauthorized use of your phone and SIMcard.PIN codeThe PIN (Personal Identification Number) protectsthe card against unauthorized use. This code issupplied with the SIM card. If the PIN is activated,the code is requested when the phone is switchedon.If you enter an incorrect PIN code three times insuccession, the SIM card is blocked; key in the PUKcode.PIN2 codeThis code is supplied with the SIM cards and isrequired to access certain functions, such asaccumulated costs. If your SIM card supports thoseparticular functions, you can activate them in yourhandset. If you enter an incorrect PIN2 code threetimes in succession, the PIN2 code is blocked andyou will be asked for the PUK2 code.PUKcodeThe PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code is used tounblock and change the locked PIN code. This codemay be supplied with the SIM card. If this is not thecase, check with your network service provider forthe code. If you enter an incorrect PUK code tentimes in succession, your SIM card will no longer bevalid.Contact your network service provider to replace theSIM card.PUK2 codeThe PUK2 code is used to unblock and change thelocked PIN2 code. This code is supplied with theSIM card. If you enter an incorrect PUK code tentimes in succession, the functions that require PIN2code in order to be activated will no longer be valid.Contact your network service provider to replace theSIM card.65
