HEADERBe careful when cleaning surface of wokwhile appliance is still hot.All parts of the wok can be cleaned with hot soapy water,rinsed and dried. Use of brand names is intended only toindicate a type of cleaner. This does not constitute anendorsement, nor does the omission of any brand namecleaner imply its inadequacy. When ever possible alwaysuse the mildest cleaning procedure to do the job effectively.For best results always rub in the direction of the polishlines to avoid marring the surface. Always wipe dry toavoid water spots.DRIP TRAY:Do not let grease accumulate in the tray as it can be a firehazard. Clean the tube as soon as they are cool. Cleanwith hot, soapy water for the tube use a soapy bottle brush.A mild abrasive cleanser such as Bon-Ami or Soft Scrubcan be used. For stubborn stain use a soap filled steel woolpad rubbing lightly. Rinse all parts thoroughly.WOK PAN:Cleaning of wok pan and support ring always use themildest procedure first. Wash in hot,soapy water for stub-born stains you may use a stainless steel product such asBon-Ami or Soft Scrub rubbing lightly. Do not use a steelwool pad, as it willscratch the surface. Rinse thoroughly and dry after dryingapply a light coating of vegetable oil to the inside surfaceof wok pan only. Apply oil with apaper towel, heat on low setting for 20 seconds allow tocool before handling wipe of excess oil.BURNER:For proper lighting and performance of the burner,keep electric igniter, pilot, and the burner ports clean. It isnecessary to clean these only when there is a severe spillover, the burner does not light even though the electricspark igniter sparks. Theflame does not burn blue completely around both rings ofthe burner. When cool, grasp the burner, and lift up so it isabove the burner support guide posts towards the rear ofwok. The venturi tube will release from the orifice hoodthat is attached at the front of the wok. Once the venturitube is disconnected from the orifice hood the burner maynow be lifted out. Be careful not to bend or pull igniter orthe pilot. Clean burner with hot soapy water and / or witha piece of wire, straightened paper clip, or needle. Clearports of any soil do not use wood or other objects that mayeasily break off inside burner ports. Wash using a dampsponge, cloth, or brush rinse thoroughly and dry. Forheavy soil you may use scouring pads like Scotch Brite or awire brush and powdered cleansers (Bon-Ami, Ajax) orsteel wool pads (S.O.S). Wash using a damp sponge, clothor brush rinse thoroughly and dry. Be sure venturi tubedrains well before replacing burner in wok. When replac-ing burner line up the venturi tube with the orifice hoodthat located at the front of the wok. The venturi tubeshould be centered under the igniter pilot burner andbetween the burner support guides located on the supportbar. These posts help to position the burner.
