Make sure the unit is placed properly.2. Make sure the exhaust hose for the clean air is properly connectedand causes no nuisance.3. Check the sealed-off zone visually for leaks.4. Make sure the on/off switch is on the position “off”.5. Connect the power cable to the unit.6. Start the unit at low speed with the on/off switch.7. Make sure the unit is actually working.ATTENTIONAfter positioning and starting outside the sealed-off zone, the machine has tobe fixed airtight to the zone by means of a suitable tape. This connection hasto be perfect, because the zone will be under vacuum and therefore mucheffect arises on these fixations.8. Enter the zone, with your complete individual personal protectiveequipment, and cut a hole in the plastic at the height of the unit. Thishole should be smaller in size than the filter.9. Remove the transit cover.10. Remove any glue remains from theinside of the filter opening.11. Fix the foil airtight with duct tape to theinside of the filter opening of the unit.12. Check whether the pre-filter has beeninstalled correctly.13. Set the desired pressure with aid of therotary knob and in accordance with thestandard prescribed by the localauthorities.ATTENTION!If the required negative pressure is not reached: check the construction of thezone and the airlock first. Check also whether the required volume of air isremoved from the zone. You can increase the number of negative pressureunits up to the point where you reach the right negative pressure and areable to sustain it. These units can be connected electrically to an automaticstart-up system.
