See page 4 for instructions on how toreset the light.Be careful not to scratch the grease channel!Removing the FiltersThe filters A are located on the bottom of thehood. They are external, exposed pieces that laydirectly above all heat, steam, and particulates thatdraw upward into the blower(s).1. Study the illustrations and notice that the:● tension clips B in the front of the hoodsecure the filters in place.● main power switch C is easily accessiblewhen the filters are removed; take care notto bump it when inserting the filters.2. Grasp the filter knobs. Lift and push the filterforward into the tension clips B until the backno longer touches the grease channel D .3. Carefully remove the filter without scratching thegrease channel.Cleaning the Filters and Grease Channel1. Wash the filters in hot soapy water or placethem in a dishwasher.2. Unhinge the grease channel and clean with ahot, soapy sponge. You may need to carefullystand on a sturdy chair (with assistance) whileyou reach inside the hood, lift up the greasechannel with both hands, and detach the piece.3. Dry the grease channel and filters beforereinstalling them.Inserting the Filters1. Grasp the filter knobs, and push the front of thefilter firmly against the tension clip B . This willgive you clearance to:2. Carefully lift the rear of the filter up into the hood,and3. With the front still pressed against the tension cliplower the rear and set it on the grease channel.4.
