5MANUAL CHANNEL SETTINGSEARCHING A CHANNELAt first, the sound and colour system have to be set according thebroadcasting system.(ex. B/D,AUTO-----). Enter a PRESET in theMAIN MENU.With the cursor located on the MANUAL, press the RIGHT/LEFTbutton. Then the color of V/W will be changed from white to red.Press UP/DOWN buttons.The channel will be searched from the frequency of the current PRupward or downward depending on UP/DOWN buttons.FINE TUNINGIf you are unable to get a good picture or sound because of a poorbroadcasting signal, it can be solved to some extent using the FINETUNE. Enter the PRESET in the MAIN MENU. With the cursorlocated on the FINE TUNE, press the RIGHT/LEFT buttons. Withthe color of V/W red press UP/DOWN buttons until the improvedpicture or sound is obtained. The changed frequency will beassigned to the current PR. And the osd color of the fine tuned PR.will be changed from white to cyan.TO STORE PROGRAMME IN MEMORYEnter PRESET in the MAIN MENU.After moving the cursor to the STATION with CH. UP/DOWN but-tons, locate it on the PROGRAM No. with RIGHT/LEFT buttons.Select the proper PR. by pressing UP/DOWN and press OK but-ton.INPUT A STATION NAMEEnter PRESET in the MAIN MENU.After moving the cursor to the STATION with the UP/DOWN but-tons, locate it on the first blank line with the RIGHT button. Usingthe CH. UP/DOWN buttons you can input the proper alphabet anddigit.
