Properly control the room temperature.2. Avoid the unit being exposed to direct sunlight. Keep direct sunlight from the room.3. Do not leave doors and windows open.NOTESetting the control at the coldest extreme of the temperature range will not cool the room anyfaster. Usually the midpoint is a good starting position. If the room temperature is not satisfactoryafter a reasonable period of time, adjust the temperature control to a lower or higher setting.CAUTIONWhen the air conditioner has been performing its cooling operation and is turned “OFF” or set tothe ‘FAN” position, wait at least 3 minutes before resetting to the cooling operation.
