NOISE OF AIR CONDITIONERS• A ringing sound after the indoor unitstarts.This sound is generated when the motors fordriving the horizontal blades are working.It will quiet down after about a minute.• A low continuous flow “Shuh” soundwhich is heard when the air conditioner isin the COOLING or DEFROST OPERA-TION or a trickling sound which is heardwhen the air conditioner is in theDEFROST OPERATION.This is the sound of refrigerant gas flowingthrough both indoor and outdoor units.• A “Shuh” sound which is heard at thestart or immediately after the stop ofoperation or which is heard at the start orimmediately after the stop of theDEFROST OPERATION.This is the noise of refrigerant caused by flowstop and flow change.During the HEATING OPERATION, the airconditioner switches to the DEFROSTOPERATION automatically.The remote controller shows “ ”.After maximum 10 minutes, the air condi-tioner returns to its original operation.• A “Pishi-pishi” squeaking sound is heardwhen the air conditioner is in operation orafter the stop of operation.Expansion and contraction of resin partscaused by temperature change makes thisnoise.VIII. DUST FROM THE INDOOR UNITS• Dust may blow out from the unit afterstarting operation from long resting time.Dust absorbed by the unit blows out.IX.
