WHEN “ ” IS DISPLAYED AND OPER-ATION IS DIFFERENT FROM THE REMOTECONTROL DISPLAY.This is because operating mode is controlled by amicro computer, as shown below, depending onthe operating mode of the other connected indoorunits when using in a multi system.• If the operating mode does not match that ofthe other indoor units which are already run-ning, the indoor unit goes into standby mode(the fan stops and the air flow flaps becomehorizontal). The unit will go into the above mode if either cool-ing, dry, or fan operation mode are set togetherwith heating mode.NOTE• Normally, the operation mode in the room wherethe unit is first run is given priority, but the follow-ing situations are exceptions, so please keep thisin mind.a. (Only for cooling-only type.)• If another indoor unit goes into heating modeafter cooling, the unit may go into dry mode(fan operates whisper and the air flow flapsbecome horizontal).III.THE FAN SPEED IS DIFFERENT FROM THESETTING.• Pressing the fan speed control button doesnot change the fan speed. When the room temperature reaches the set tem-perature in heating mode, the power supply fromthe outdoor unit stops and the indoor unit goesinto whisper mode (in a multi system, the fan goesback and forth between stop and whisper). This is to prevent the cool air from being blowndirectly onto anyone in the room.
