Disconnect the refrigerantpiping.Preparation Remove the electrical boxaccording to the “Removal ofElectrical Box / PCBs /Swing Motors”.CautionIf the refrigerant leaks, repairthe spot of leaking, thencollect all refrigerant from theunit. After conductingvacuum drying, rechargeproper amount of refrigerant.CautionIn pump-down work, be sureto stop the compressorbefore disconnecting therefrigerant pipe. If therefrigerant pipe isdisconnected with thecompressor operating andthe stop valve open, air maybe sucked in and maygenerate an over-pressure inrefrigeration cycle, thusresulting in pipe rupture oraccidental injury. Place a plastic sheet underthe drain pan to prevent fromwetting the floor withremaining drain. If the drain hose isembedded in the wall,disconnect the drain hosebeforehand. Carry out the removal workswith 2 wrenches.
