Disconnect the refrigerantpiping.Preparation Remove the electrical boxaccording to the “Removalof Electrical Box / VerticalBlades”.CautionBe sure to stop thecompressor beforedisconnecting the refrigerantpipe. If the refrigerant pipe isdisconnected with thecompressor running and thestop valve opened, air may besucked in to generate anover-pressure in therefrigeration cycle, thusresulting in pipe rupture oraccidental injury. If the drain hose isembedded in the wall,disconnect the drain hosebeforehand.1 Remove the screwswhich fix the indoor unitto the installation plate.2 Lift the indoor unit witha wooden base.3 Pull out the drain hose. Place a plastic sheet underthe drain hose as remainingdrain may leak.4 Disconnect the flare nutfor gas piping with 2wrenches.CautionFrom the viewpoint of globalenvironmental protection,make sure to use a vacuumpump for air purging.
