Fit the projection of the remote controllerholder into the hole at the back of theremote controller.Turn on the circuit breaker• After the power is turned on, the fl aps of the indoor unit open andclose once to set the reference position.Notes on batteries• The batteries will last for about 1 year. If the remote controller display begins to fade and the reception degrades within1 year, however, replace both batteries with new AA.LR6 (alkaline) ones at the same time.• The batteries that come with the remote controller are for initial operation. The batteries may run out in less than 1 year.• When the TIMERS are set, the settings are cancelled after replacing the batteries. Set the TIMERS again.• When the air conditioner is not used for a long time, take the batteries out.
