2 English• Do not install the air conditioner in the following locations:1. Where there is a high concentration of mineral oil sprayor vapour (e.g. a kitchen).Plastic parts will deteriorate, parts may fall off and waterleakage could result.2. Where corrosive gas, such as sulphurous acid gas, isproduced.Corroding of copper pipes or soldered parts may resultin refrigerant leakage.3. Near machinery emitting electromagnetic radiation.Electromagnetic radiation may disturb the operation of thecontrol system and result in a malfunction of the unit.4. Where flammable gas may leak, where there is carbonfibre or ignitable dust suspensions in the air, or where vol-atile flammables such as paint thinner or gasoline are han-dled.Operating the unit in such conditions may result in fire.• Do not touch the heat exchanger fins.Improper handling may result in injury.• Be very careful about product transportation.Some products use PP bands for packaging. Do not use anyPP bands for a means of transportation. It is dangerous.• Safely dispose of the packing materials.Packing materials, such as nails and other metal or woodenparts, may cause stabs or other injuries.Tear apart and throw away plastic packaging bags so thatchildren will not play with them. If children play with a plasticbag which was not torn apart, they face the risk of suffocation.• Do not turn off the power immediately after stopping operation.Always wait at least 5 minutes before turning off the power.Otherwise, water leakage and trouble may occur.• In a domestic environment this product may cause radiointerference in which case the user may be required to takeadequate measures.Follow national standards for installation work.2. BEFORE INSTALLATIONThe accessories needed for installation must be retained inyour custody until the installation work is completed. Donot discard them!1. Decide upon a line of transport.2. Leave the unit inside its packaging while moving, untilreaching the installation site. Where unpacking is unavoid-able, use a sling of soft material or protective platestogether with a rope when lifting, to avoid damage orscratches to the unit.When moving the unit at or after opening, hold the unit bythe hanger brackets.
