17 | Piping installationInstaller and user reference guide62FXUA50~100AVEBVRV system air conditioner4P673843-1 – 2022.0117.2.2 Precautions when connecting the refrigerant pipingINFORMATIONAlso read the precautions and requirements in the following chapters:▪ General safety precautions▪ PreparationDANGER: RISK OF BURNING/SCALDINGNOTICE▪ Do NOT use mineral oil on flared part.▪ Do NOT reuse piping from previous installations.▪ NEVER install a drier to this R32 unit to guarantee its lifetime. The drying materialmay dissolve and damage the system.NOTICETake the following precautions on refrigerant piping into account:▪ Avoid anything but the designated refrigerant to get mixed into the refrigerantcycle (e.g. air).▪ Only use R32 when adding refrigerant.▪ Only use installation tools (e.g. manifold gauge set) that are exclusively used forR32 installations to withstand the pressure and to prevent foreign materials (e.g.mineral oils and moisture) from mixing into the system.▪ Install the piping so that the flare is NOT subjected to mechanical stress.▪ Do NOT leave pipes unattended at the site.
