TROUBLE SHOOTINGIf one of the following malfunctions occur, takethe measures shown below and contact yourDaikin dealer.WARNINGStop operation and shut off the power if any-thing unusual occurs (burning smells, etc.)Leaving the unit running under such circum-stances may cause breakage, electrical shock, orfire.Contact your dealer.• If a safety device such as a fuse, a breaker or anearth leakage breaker frequently actuates;Measure : Do not turn on the main power switch.• If the ON/OFF switch does not properly work;Measure: Turn off the main power switch.• If water leaks from the unit;Measure: Stop the operation.• If the display “ ”, the unit number and theoperation lamp flash and the malfunction codeappears; (Refer to figure 12)1. If power failureoccurs during operation, the system automaticallyrestarts immediately after the power supply isrecovered.• Check if no fuse has blown.Turn off the power supply.• Check if the breaker isdown.Turn the power on withthe breaker switch in theoff position.Do not turn the power onwith the breaker switch in the trip position.(Contact your dealer.)2. If the system stops soon after starting the opera-tion;• Check if air inlet or outlet of indoor unit is notblocked by obstacles.Remove any obstacle and make it well-ventilated.• Check if the remote controller display shows“ ” (time to clean the air filter);Refer to the operation manual of the indoor unit.And clean the air filter.• Check if all the valves in the water piping system.Open all the valves in the water piping system.• Check if a strainer is choked.Clean a strainer.• Check if a heat source water is circulating.Inspect the water system.• Check if the inlet temperature of the heat sourcewater is within its range.Do not exceed its range.• Check if the water quantity of the heat sourcewater is within its range.Do not exceed its range.3.
