• Use the attached drain hose (1) and Metal clamp (2).• Insert the drain hose into the drain socket up to the base, and tighten the metal clamp securely within theportion of a white tape of the hose-inserted tip. Tighten the metal clamp until the screw head is less than4 mm from the hose.• Wrap the attached sealing pad ( 8)over the Metal clamp and drain hose to insulate.• Make sure that heat insulation work is executed on the following 2 spots to prevent any possible waterleakage due to dew condensation.• Indoor drain pipe• Drain socket Metalclamp (2)Metalclamp (2) Large sealing pad (8)(accessory)Tape (White)Fig.19• Install the drain raising pipes at a height of less than 675 mm.Fig.20 :::;4mmThe drain pump of this unit has a high delivery flow rate. Therefore, the higher the drain raising height is, thelower the sound of draining will be. For this reason, a minimum drain raising height of 300 mm is recommended.• Install the drain raising pipes at a right angle to the indoor unit and no more than 300 mm from the unit.- - - - - - - - - - 1/, Ceiling slab/Drain hose (1) :::;3oomm(accessory) 1Level or I1 - 1.Sm , Hanger bracket ::--+---- Adjustablerw::::-:= tilted I--t slightly upTo prevent air bubbles in thedrain hose part, keep it level orslightly tilted up. The ammonia in thesewage might enter the indoor unit through the drain pipes and corrode the heat exchanger.49I PreviousNext |
