34CD modeSafety Instructions5General informationThe Sound 30 and the CD-changer* maynot be able to play copy-protected audioCDs.CDs should be handled with care in or-der to prevent malfunction when play-ing. Avoid leaving fingerprints and duston the CDs. You must not write on or at-tach stickers to CDs.Clean CDs occasionally with a commer-cially available cleaning cloth. Do notuse solvents, anti-static spray, etc. forcleaning purposes and replace the CDsin the CD box, after use. Protect the CDsfrom heat and direct sunlight.Accident hazard GOnly load CDs into the Sound 30 and theCD-changer* when the vehicle is at astandstill. If attempted while driving, thedistraction from the traffic situation leadsto increased danger of accidents.Injury hazard GThe Sound 30 and the CD-changer* areclass 1 laser products. Invisible laser radi-ation will cause a hazard if the housing isopened or damaged.Do not open the housing. Sound 30 andthe CD-changer* do not contain any ser-viceable parts.
