The following table shows the storage functions ofthe EEPROM.Table 24: Functions of the 2kB Storage Facility of the Configuration EEPROMStorage Address Description Reference000H EEPROM size Default 06H001H - 1FFH Factory settings = booting data for the hardware Table 25200H - 3FFH Copy of the factory settings Table 25400H - 4FFH Storage for trimming values of the auxiliarysensor voltages Table 26 and Table 27500H - 6FFH Main memory for software amendments700H – 7FFH reserved -The stored data in address 000H of the EEPROM describes the storage capacity. It is used for therecognition of a chosen configuration.Subsequently byte 00H is the factory setting in the EEPROM. The factory settings contain allparameters which are needed for the operation of the camera after power up or reset. Table 25shows the EEPROM addresses and the corresponding FPGA internal register addresses. Somedefault values are dependent on the individual fine-tuning of the camera so these values are onlyrecommended starting values.A copy of the factory settings, including the EEPROM size is deposited in the address 200H –3FFH, thus enabling a restoration of the camera settings by software. Nevertheless, it isrecommended that you save a copy of the factory settings on an external storage medium. In the addresses 400H – 4FFH there are complete sets of DAC values for 8 operating modes. The storage addresses 500H – 6FFH are reserved for camera control variables. Details can befound in the software manual. The area 700H – 7FFH is reserved. In the event of queries or service requests, a dump of the EEPROM contents should be sent toDALSA together with an error description.
