Time of theday will be displayed for 3 seconds beforereturning to displaying the counting down of thecooking time.l IN CASE OF POWER FAILURE, when the powerhas been restored, the control will be in a clockset mode. Check and tryagain.2. SETTING THE OVEN TIMERA. Timer works independently of cooking and can beset anytime for various kitchen tasks. Use oventimer though oven is also timing a microwavecooking function. Set time as follows:l Touch the TIMER pad. Word prompts ENTERTIMER TIME show on the display. If you areusing the TIMER while cooking in the oven:Cooking time countdown will be temporarilyreplaced on the display while timer is being set.l Enter the amount of time you wish to set bytouching the correct number pads. Digit time is inminutes and seconds and set left to right. Set onedigit (a 5 for 5 seconds) or up to four digits (2405for 24 minutes, 5 sec-seconds). ENTER TIMERremains on the display.l Touch START/STOP pad. Word prompt TIMERstarts flashing and timer countdown can be seenon display for 3 seconds before cooking time isreturned to display. Touching RESET willnot allow you to change timer setting whilecooking.l When end of time has been reached, one longbeep can be heard and timer will leave thedisplay.
