Heating these productsin the microwave oven couldresult in injury.• Do not boil eggs in amicrowave oven. Pressurewill build up inside egg yolkand will cause it to burst,possibly resulting in injury.• Operating the microwave withno food inside for more thana minute or two may causedamage to the oven andcould start a fire. When microwaving, you use small strips of foil to shield thinparts, such as the tips of wings and legs on poultry, which would cookbefore larger parts.Standing Time When you cook with regular ovens, foods such as roasts or cakes areallowed to stand to finish cooking or to set. Standing time is especiallyimportant in microwave cooking.
