Replacing with high wattage bulbs can result indamage to the rangehood or fire and not recommended.CAUTION: the light bulbs and glass cover become extremelyhot when running. Shut off the lights and allow them to coolprior to changing the bulb. Failing to do so could result inserious burns.REPLACING LIGHT BULBSThe mesh filters are intended to trap residue and greasefrom the cooking process. To ensure optimal performance,appearance, and a sanitary cooking environment, clean thefilters, fan and grease laden surfaces regularly. Use only aclean cloth and mild detergent solution on stainless steel andpainted surfaces. Do not use corrosive or abrasive cleaningagents or steel wool or scouring pads as these will scratchthe surface. Do not use cleaning products that use chlorinebleach or orange cleaners.The grease filters, bottom panel surrounding the grease filters,and the blower should be cleaned frequently. When washingby hand use warm soapy (mild detergent) water. The greasefilter and blower wheels are dishwasher safe.The motor is permanently lubricated and never needs oiling. Ifthe motor bearings make unusual or excessive noise, call forservice at 1-800-263-2629.CLEANING & MAINTENANCEHeat Sensor:The hood is equipped with a heat sensing thermostat. If thesafety device detects heat in excess of 158°F (70°C) abovethe cooking surface, it will turn on or speed up the fan. If thefan is not on or running at a low speed, the heat sensor willoverride the normal fan control and run the fan on high speed.When the temperature level drops below 158°F (70°C) the fanspeed will revert back to its original setting.
