If no diverteris used,leavediverterplug (G)in placeandproceedto Step3Select the correct faceplate insert (H) The insert with the argerinner diameter is for Type A valves; the insert with the smallerinner diameter is used for Type B valves Note the screwlocations for Type B valves and select the appropriate faceplateinsert Removethe paper backing from the appropriate tubegasket (I) and adhereto the back side of the appropriatefacep ate insert (H)Snapthefaceplateinsert(H)in to thefront of the faceplate(F)Press firmly to snap in placePlace the faceplate gasket (J) into the back of the faceplate (F)Slidethefaceplateassemblyoverthe tube(D), makesurethediverter hole (K) is located downward Pressthe faceplateassembly firmly against the wall. Place handle assemblyover valve stem, pointed upward.
