Smaller diametertube (E2) is used for Type B valvesLocate new face plate (G) Note: do not remove gasket that isinstalled onto the back of face plate. f valve body includesdiverter, remove diverter plug (J) from the back of the face plateby squeezing the tabs of the plug and pushing towards the frontof the face plate. If unable to do so, use a pen or pencil and pushout the plug from the back of the face plate Remove paperbacking from diverter foam gasket (I) and adhereto the back offace plate on the diverter hole area. If no diverter is used, leavediverter plug (J) in place and proceed to step 3Select the correct face plate insert (H). Insert temperature limit stop (M) into temperature Imit adapter (L) Thetemperature limit stop (M) is inserted into the temperature limit adapter(L) by defaultinthe packageNote: This is a temperature limiting adapter. Rotate the temperature limitstop (M) clockwise as shown in Figure 6 to limit the hot water output(!) THISDOESNOTREDUCETHENEEDTOLOWERTHETEMPEATUREOFTHE WATER HEATER TO PREVENT SCALDING.3.
