Long control cables and analog signals may in rare casesresult in 50/60 Hz ground loops due to noise from mainssupply cables. If this occurs, it may be necessary to breakthe shield or insert a 100 nF capacitor between shield andchassis. Connect the digital and analog inputs and outputsseparately to the common inputs (terminal 20, 55, 39) toavoid ground currents from both groups affecting othergroups. For example, switching on the digital input maydisturb the analog input signal.130BC987.10Safetorque offSafetorque offPNP (Source)Digital input wiringNPN (Sink)Digital input wiringNVR B03B04P B02 B012012G B07B0820 B06 B05372013 B11B1237 B10 B09121212 121212 55 53271918 333229 50 54202020 202020 55 42NVR B03B04P B02 B012012G B07B0820 B06 B05372013 B11B1237 B10 B09121212 121212 55 53271918 333229 50 54202020 202020 55 42Illustration 2.20 Input Polarity of Control TerminalsNOTICETo comply with EMC emission specifications, shielded/armored cables are recommended. If an unshielded/unarmored cable is used, see chapter 2.9.7 EMC TestResults for more information.2.5.5 Relay OutputThe relay output with the terminals 01, 02, 03 and 04, 05,06 has a capacity of maximum 240 V AC, 2 A. Minimum24 V DC, 10 mA, or 24 V AC, 100 mA can be used forindicating status and warnings. The 2 relays are physicallylocated on the installation card. These are programmablethrough parameter group 5-4* Relays. The relays are Form C,meaning each has 1 normally open contact and 1 normallyclosed contact on a single throw. The contacts of eachrelay are rated for a maximum load of 240 V AC at 2 amps.Relay 1• Terminal 01: Common• Terminal 02: Normal open 240 V AC• Terminal 03: Normal closed 240 V ACRelay 2• Terminal 04: Common• Terminal 05: Normal open 240 V AC• Terminal 06: Normal closed 240 V ACRelay 1 and relay 2 are programmed inparameter 5-40 Function Relay, parameter 5-41 On Delay,Relay, and parameter 5-42 Off Delay, Relay.372013 B11B1237 B10 B092012G B07B0820 B06 B05NVR B03B04P B02 B01ZA/ZB+5V/BGND/AA+24VBGND130BC998.10Illustration 2.21 Relay ConnectionProduct Overview and Functi...
