Compliance is achieved based onthe following conditions:• Built-in RFI filter.• Drive set to nominal switching frequency.• Maximum shielded motor cable length of 2 m(6.56 ft).2.6.3 Immunity RequirementsThe immunity requirements for drives depend on theenvironment in which they are installed. The requirementsfor the industrial environment are higher than therequirements for the home and office environment. AllDanfoss drives comply with the requirements for theindustrial environment. Therefore, the drives also complywith the lower requirements for home and officeenvironment with a large safety margin.To document immunity against burst transient fromelectrical phenomena, the following immunity tests havebeen carried in accordance with the following basicstandards:• EN 61000-4-2 (IEC 61000-4-2): Electrostaticdischarges (ESD): Simulation of electrostaticdischarges from human beings.• EN 61000-4-3 (IEC 61000-4-3): Incoming electro-magnetic field radiation, amplitude modulatedsimulation of the effects of radar and radiocommunication equipment, as well as mobilecommunications equipment.• EN 61000-4-4 (IEC 61000-4-4): Burst transients:Simulation of interference brought about byswitching a contactor, relay, or similar devices.Product Overview Design GuideMG03M302 Danfoss A/S © 12/2018 All rights reserved. 232 2
