223. Pull wheelguard coveraway fromwheel.4. Using a 4 mmhex key,remove 3;5mm sockethead capscrews(PP16318FF)& split washer (PP08650FF)from grindingwheel retainer.5. Remove thewheel retainer6. Pull wheeltoward youthen to theright and out ofthe machinecavity.7. Clean the machine cavity as well as themounting hub and wheel beforereinstalling.8. Repeat steps in reverse to install newwheel.NOTE: Because the Darex grinding wheelcannot be trued it is critical that the motor hub &wheel register be cleaned. Once wheel has beeninstalled, rotate the wheel by hand to check thatthe wheels run true. If not, loosen the screws ,reposition the wheel and tighten the screws.Separating grinding wheel from point splitwheelThe grinding and pointsplit wheel are piggybacked and boltedtogether. To changeany one of the wheelsyou must firstseparate them. Youcan access the boltsfrom the back side ofthe sharpening wheel.1.
