Make sure the motor stopscompletely before disassembling.• Do not put your fingers or other objects intothe blender while it is in operation. If foodbecomes lodged in the blades, turn off andunplug before trying to remove.• Do not use the appliance if any of the partsare damaged.• Do not use without lid in place.• Keep hands and utensils away from movingblades while appliance is engaged to reducethe risk of severe injury or damage to theblender.• Blades in the blender are sharp. Handlecarefully. Wash using brush or gloves. Donot touch small cutting blades in the baseof the pitcher.• Do not place on or near a hot gas range, hotelectric burner, or in a heated oven.• When cleaning do not submerse motor (withelectrical parts) in any liquid; instead use asoft, wet cloth to wipe down.• Do not run the blender when the pitcher isempty.• When blending thick or dry food for aprolonged period of time, the temperaturemonitoring system may shut down the motorto prevent overheating. This may occurwhen the Blender is overloaded. Unplug theBlender and place the motor base in a wellventilated area allowing it to cool down for45 minutes. Try removing some of the foodbefore beginning to blend again.• Make sure the Lid is closed tightly duringblending to prevent liquid from splashingout.
