LYNX™ D4The field of view indicated by the aiming system will be smaller when the Lynx™ D iscloser to the code and larger when it is farther from the code. Symbologies withsmaller bars or elements (mil size) should be read closer to the unit. Symbologieswith larger bars or elements (mil size) should be read farther from the unit. For configuring the Camera Controlparameters refer to the Lynx™ D Reference Manual available on theCD-ROM.2.2 INDICATORS2.2.1 LED IndicatorsThe following LED indicators signal the reader functions:LED BehaviorRed at power on, blinks briefly, then a beep occurs. Then, it turns off.lights when a wrong read occurs.lights when the aiming system is enabled. It turns off only whenthe trigger is released and the aiming system is disabled.Green lights when a symbol has been read and decoded.2.2.2 BeeperThe Lynx™ D basic software provides beeper signals for good/wrong reading and forindicating errors. Its tone, volume and duration can be directly configured by usingthe codes given on page 45.The application program can also manage the beeper (User Defined Beeper) whenthe reader is controlled by a Host PC.
