368. PrecautionsThis chapter will give users some precautions for the issues that they may encounter when usingthe MCU-400. If there is any problems in using the MCU-400, please refer to related chapters andplease follow all suggested solutions. If the issue is still existed, please contact your local dealer orthe service center of your area.No Precautions1. Currently, the IP address of the BC-100 only can be set by manual and then the BC-100 mustbe connected to the SE-3200 for transmitting the signal and for corresponding the inputorder of the BC-100 cameras. When the BC-100 is worked with the CCU, the location of theBC-100 can not be corresponded to input order of the SE-3200.Note: This situation is similar to HS-1600T’s adoption of the DVIP protocol before.2. The system will detect whether the IP address conflict issue or the non-supported IP address. However, users must modify the IP address of the BC-100 by the PC or laptop in advancebefore using it. The IP address of the BC-100 can not be modified by the MCU-400 directly incurrent situation.Once the MCU-400 is connected to the DVIP and then the system will be operated mainly bythe DVIP protocol. Please connect the BC-100 and the MCU-400 through RS-422 protocol by Ethernetcables. If the MCU-400 is connected to the network by the DVIP protocol and there areother devices existed in the DVIP environment, the “IP Not support” message will beshown on the MCU-400. At this time, it is a must for users to remove the Ethernet cablethat is connected to the DVIP port of the MCU-400 and then the MCU-400 must berebooted for normal operation. If the “Detect no cam” message is shown, it is a must for users to remove the Ethernetcable that is connected to the DVIP port of the MCU-400.3. The DVIP protocol supports static IP address only currently. The supported static IP addressrange is 192.168.100.121~192.168.100.124. The IP address of 192.168.100.121 meansCAM1. The IP address of 192.168.100.122 means CAM2. The IP address of 192.168.100.123means CAM3. The IP address of 192.168.100.124 means CAM4. If the IP address exceeds thelimit of 192.168.100.121 to 192.168.100.124. The error message “IP not support” will beshown on the LCD.
